At 20:23 on Thursday, 30 June, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Newport.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

One saloon vehicle in collision with gas box of a residential property. No persons trapped.Transco also in attendance.
