At 05:26 on Wednesday, 27 April, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Telford .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Tweedale.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the RSPCA.

1 cat reescued from engine compartment of van, by vehicle hire company mechanic. Fire Service Crews assisting by using airbags and chocks to raise and support vehicle. Cat no in the care of RSPCA.
