At 15:00 on Sunday, 23 July, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Shed Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

This incident was a false alarm caused by a controlled burn, if you are having a bonfire please call Fire Control on 01743 260290 prior to lighting

Build bonfires well clear of buildings and never use flammable liquids to start the fire. Before you light the bonfire, check that children and animals are not hiding inside and are a safe distance away. Don't leave bonfires unattended. Don't light bonfires in unsuitable weather conditions.
