At 22:06 on Tuesday, 17 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Crews dealing with mattress on fire with 1 hose reel jet. Investigating whether adjacent building has been affected.
