At 09:13 on Thursday, 11 June, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Hodnet.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Road traffic collision involving 1 LGV and 1 large van - no persons trapped - vehicles made safe by Fire Service Personnel.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Hodnet.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Car fire involving 2 vehicles. No persons trapped but both vehicles were involved in fire and each suffered around 60% fire damage. One high pressure hose and 2 breathing apparatus in use.
