At 21:45 on Thursday, 28 November, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Oswestry.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Ellesmere, Oswestry and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

RTC involving one vehicle which rolled over and came to rest on all four wheels. No persons were trapped at this incident and on request of Police, Fire Crews did not make the vehicle electrically safe. This incident was left with the Police.

Car on fire on the A5 which crews having extinguished using one hose reel jet working with foam. One lane closed due to hazards including smoke across the carriageway.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Incident involved fire within bathroom of a flat to the rear of the building. Crews extinguished using 2 hosereel jets, 4 breathing apparatus and used 2 thermal image cameras. No persons were injured. Fire Investigation being undertaken.
