One saloon vehicle resting close to riverbank, vehicle has been made secure and one male occupant released from vehicle.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit, the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Hodnet, Prees, Shrewsbury, Telford, Wem and Whitchurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

This was a barn fire approximately 80m x 20m and had spread to adjacent buildings which set alight by an electrical fault.
