At 11:59 on Sunday, 27 February, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Ludlow.

6 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Cleobury Mortimer, Clun, Craven Arms and Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved a large amount of farm machinery and tyres which was extinguished by fire service personnel using two hose reel jets.
