At 11:44 on Wednesday, 28 December, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a commercial deep fat fryer in the kitchen area. Staff were evacuated from the premis prior to arrival of fire service personnel.
