At 09:38 on Tuesday, 14 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Irongbridge .

2 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit, the Incident Support Unit and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Report of one dog and one owner stuck in pond up to chest height. On arrival of crews both owner and dog had self extricated so no action was required by Fire Service. Ambulance crews assessing casualty.

Incident involved fire within derelict outbuilding compromising of a mattress and domestic items. Crew extinguished the fire using one hosreel jet whilst wearing breathing apparatus.
