At 17:57 on Thursday, 22 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Telford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Small fire within bedroom which was extinguished by crews using a hose reel jet and a covering jet whilst wearing breathing apparatus. Temperatures were then checked using a thermal iamging camera.
