At 13:01 on Saturday, 21 January, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Minsterley.

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Minsterley, Shrewsbury and Telford Central. Operations and Safety officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Fire in first floor of property affecting bedroom and bathroom. Crews used hose reel jets and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
