• 13.5m ladder
• Chimney rods
• Hosereel jet
• Stirrup pump
• Thermal imaging camera

Chimney fire, crews used chimney rods, one hose reel jet, stirrup pump and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish.

Fire involving fire approximately 2 x 2 metres consisting of grass and undergrowth. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet, 1 misting lamp and 1 thermal image camera.

Road traffic collision involving 1 heavy goods vehicle, 1 tractor and 1 car. Crews assisted Police and gave advice.

At 13:26 on Sunday, 24 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Pulverbatch.

12 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit and the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Bishops Castle, Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Minsterley, Oswestry, Shrewsbury, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Fire Investigation, Safety and Principal officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

20 Hectares of field alight. Beaters and hose reel jets used to extinguish. Drone utilised to check for further fire spread. Assistance given from neighboring brigade Mid and West Wales.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved an area of grass field approximately 35m x 35m which was extinguished by crews using two hosereel jets and one fogging unit to damp down hotspots. Crews also used one thermal imaging camera.

At 20:55 on Wednesday, 13 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Urgent in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Minsterley.

Crews from Minsterley and Church Stretton assisted ambulance with carrying 1 casualty down a steep proximity using a stretcher, crews left the casualty in the care of ambulance. Lowland rescue and hazardous area response team (HART) also assisted at this incident.
