At 18:58 on Wednesday, 19 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Electricity Sub Station in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet

Fire caused by transformer explosion, the premises has been ventilated and all temperature checks carried out.
