At 12:01 on Thursday, 10 August, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm due to the use of bug smokers, crews have ventilated the property and liaising with occupiers.
