At 14:59 on Thursday, 14 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Flooding in Oswestry .

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch, Oswestry and Shrewsbury.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Reports of 2 people in a vehicle stuck in flood water, both individuals were rescued and were left in the care of West Midlands Ambulance.
