At 14:50 on Monday, 26 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Shawbury.

2 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Hodnet and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a burning of waste that has now been extinguished.
