At 10:12 on Friday, 29 March, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Pontesbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Fire by log burner in property that has been extinguished by Fire Service Personnel. Property has been ventilated.
