At 01:05 on Tuesday, 16 April, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire Commercial in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire in casting machine caused by accidental ignition of lubricating oil.
