At 18:14 on Wednesday, 19 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Oswestry and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Initial reports of barn fire which proved to be a 10 square metre hedgerow on fire. Fire crews used 2 hose reel jets and assisted Police with traffic management at scene
