At 23:28 on Saturday, 22 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

This incident was found to be a false alarm due to fumes from cooking activating the alarm.
