At 14:02 on Monday, 10 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke In Area in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Reports of large amounts of smoke across A442 carriageway. This was a false alarm due to a controlled burn being disturbed causing plumes of smoke.
