At 18:27 on Friday, 11 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

This incident was found to be a false alarm with good intent due to smoke escaping into upstairs bedroom, thorough internal and external check completed by Fire Service Personnel.
