At 17:20 on Monday, 28 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oakengates.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera
• Triple/Short extension ladder

Fire in derelict 2 storey property.
