At 20:04 on Wednesday, 30 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Incident involved overheated brakes in the rear axle of the trailer of a LGV, crews used one hose reel jet to cool and one thermal imaging camera to monitor the temperature.
