At 23:04 on Monday, 5 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm due to fault in detector.
