At 21:13 on Thursday, 15 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Tweedale.

Report of smoke and fire seen in field and woodland area of playing fields. On arrival of crews this was a campfire which was under control. Advice given only. No further action required by fire service.
