At 18:14 on Friday, 23 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke In Area in Shifnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Knapsacks

Incident involving small amount of rubbish which had been set alight. Crews used buckets of water and knapsacks to extinguish the fire.
