At 14:26 on Wednesday, 18 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by an unknown system fault. Thorough investigation carried out by crews.
