At 21:34 on Monday, 7 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Fuel Leak/Spillage Large in Sandford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees, Tweedale and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Diesel fuel spillage due to split tank of LGV. Leak was stemmed and area of spillage covered with sand
