Attending crews used the following equipment:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.

Diesel spillage from HGV due to damage to fuel tank. Crews filled hole to fuel tank and used sheets to soak up fuel spill. Police and Highways also in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 2 cars which have both been made electrically safe. Fluid and debris on the road has been contained using environment grab packs and highways have been notified in order to deal with fuel spill. Casualties in care of paramedics. Incident left with Police.

4 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Ellesmere, Oswestry, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Environment Agency, the Highways Agency and the Police.

Reports of a milk tanker on its side crews used Environment Agency equipment to prevent milk entering the water way, incident left in care of Police, Recovery, Highways and the Environment Agency.

At 11:07 on Sunday, 21 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tractor Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Breathing Apparatus (BA)
  • Environment agency equipment
  • Hosereel jet
  • Thermal imaging camera

1 tractor and several hay bails destroyed by fire. Crews use 2 hosreel jets to extinguish whilst wearing breathing apparatus. Environment Agency and Shropshire Highways notified due to hydraulic oil spill on highway. Environmental mats used on highway drains to clear oil.

At 19:20 on Monday, 10 June, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Oswestry.

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Road traffic collision involving 2 vehicles. Both vehicles 100% involved in fire. One of the vehicles was electric. Crews wearing four breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. All persons were accounted for, and left in the care of West Midlands Ambulance Service. Crews were assisted by North Wales Fire Service.
