At 11:21 on Sunday, 20 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Knapsacks

This incident involved a deep seated fire in undergrowth measuring approximately 3 square metres. Crews used buckets of water and knapsack sprayer to extinguish the fire.
