At 21:19 on Monday, 28 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford and Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Knapsacks
• Shovels/Forks/Brooms

This incident involved 1 tree which was well alight on arrival of crews. 1 hosereel jet, knapsack and shovels were used to extinguish the fire.
