At 11:04 on Thursday, 31 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire Persons Reported in Pontesbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury.

On arrival crews found there to be no sign of fire and this to be a false alarm good intent.
