At 17:05 on Monday, 4 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm good intent due to oil dropping on to manifold of car, crews used one hose reel jet to cool the engine and one thermal imaging camera.
