At 15:20 on Thursday, 14 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shifnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving controlled burn. Crews have dampened down surrounding hedgerow to prevent fire spread and gave advice.
