At 20:41 on Friday, 15 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Knapsacks

Fire in woodlands involving small amount of branches and undergrowth which was extinguished prior to arrival of fire service by local residents. Crews damped surrounding area down with knapsacks and buckets of water.
