At 07:46 on Wednesday, 20 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Newport and Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks

10 square meters of branches, trees and undergrowth on fire. Misting lance from the incident support unit utilised to extinguished.
