At 23:11 on Monday, 25 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involving an area of woodland roughly 100m x 40m. 2 main jets, thermal imaging camera a drone in use.
