At 10:57 on Saturday, 30 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Halfway House.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Small bonfire which had spread to gorse and undergrowth. Assisting Mid and West Wales.
