At 14:36 on Wednesday, 15 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Minsterley.

Fire involving fire approximately 2 x 2 metres consisting of grass and undergrowth. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet, 1 misting lamp and 1 thermal image camera.
