At 16:37 on Saturday, 29 November, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Rtc Persons Trapped in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bishops Castle, Minsterley and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving one car which has come to rest on its side in ditch off of carriageway. Crews have used holmatro equipment to release the casualty.
