At 15:23 on Sunday, 4 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by unattended cooking. Crews ventilated the property.
