At 20:20 on Thursday, 8 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Electricity Cable in Minsterley.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Minsterley.

National grid have attended and removed effected cables and will replace cables shortly to restore power.
