At 16:50 on Wednesday, 21 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency.

Incident involving one car on fire. Crews extinguishing the fire using a hose reel jet whilst wearing breathing apparatus.
