At 14:36 on Wednesday, 28 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Incident involving two vehicles with one driver trapped in vehicle. Crews used holmatro cutting equipment to remove the roof of the car to release the casualty. All casualties in care of ambulance crews and both vehicles made electrically safe using small gear.
