At 11:28 on Saturday, 11 October, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton, Telford and Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency.

Small fire in engine compartment of a Renault Clio on the hard shoulder of the M54 motorway. 1 hose reel jet used to damp down.
