At 16:10 on Tuesday, 10 March, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Gorse in Snailbeach.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Bishops Castle and Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

fire involving 1000 square metres of gorse beaters and hosereel jets in use
