At 20:42 on Tuesday, 12 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Flooding in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

• Portable pump

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Domestic flooding affecting several properties. Ambulance requested to assess 1 elderly gentleman found in one of the properties. 1 main pump and 1 light portable pump in use to disperse flood water.
