At 10:20 on Saturday, 27 February, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Animal Rescue in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Minsterley and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

1 large horse has been relocated to harder standing ground using animal rescue techniques.
